Tater's Cafe

Super friendly staff. I ordered breakfast to go and they helped me out to my car with it. Love the decorations. The place was neat and tidy. Breakfast was yummy.

The eggs at Taters Cafe were as close to the high quality free range non-vegetarian fed eggs that our chickens at home lay and much better than the thin gruel that passes for eggs nearly everywhere else. Also the bacon was fantastic; thick, tender with excellent flavor. The waffle was good (I know it's hard to screw up a waffle but I've seen it done so I don't take it for granted when a waffle is done right). Service was efficient & competent. I was having a particularly good morning the day I stopped in so my impression might be colored but breakfast at Taters Cafe was superb.

The decor is very cute and feels very homey. I also like the outdoor patio area, though it was too cold to sit out there. I like the coffee cups with different sayings on them, it brings character to the place. However, the oatmeal french toast was really not very good, I barely ate 1 slice. The syrup is also served in a ketchup squeeze bottle, and not warm. Also, the server never came back to check on our breakfast or even to refill my coffee. The server silently dropped off the check without a word to me. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but I left hungry. The fact that I work for another restaurant in town shouldnt discredit my honest review of this place. 🤔
